45 Athletes and 10 coaches traveled down to Clermont, Florida over the winter break to participate in the Team Ontario Canada Summer Games (CSG) Training Camp. Though workouts started at 7:00am, the weather provided ideal opportunities for athletes to maximize their training. Athletes had the opportunity to work directly with the team coaches who provided technique analysis, and talent ID testing. CSG Head Coach, Derek Hackshaw had this to say on the trip “the 2017 Canada Summer Games Warm Weather Training Camp was a genuine success on so many levels. The 40+ athletes we had attending really worked extremely hard all week, persevering through very early mornings and many days with two workouts at the track, weight room, and pool. All the coaches agree that Team Ontario will be a strong, unified contingent this summer in Winnipegâ€. Check out the Athletics Ontario Facebook Page to view pictures and highlights from the camp.
